Expensive flight, joined MartinB in a thermal, at approx 3000ft so thought I would turn my camera on whilst fiddling with it, it just disappeared, although I didn't have it tethered due to safety issues with catching it wouldn't have made a difference the connection to the mount and camera had failed. -(, lost Martin in that thermal and never truly recovered.
