Had an enjoyable afternoon playing with sea thermals along the coast from Beer, including pushing 1km out to sea. Back at Beer take off I found another thermal to get 1200' and chanced the 3km crossing to cliffs East of Seaton (the beach was always a landing option). Made the cliffs with 300'. The breeze was SSW and I had to gain some height before having the confidence to run slightly downwind to Lyme Regis. Once past there it was a doddle to cruise along the coast to land at Cogden. An awesome day out for February. Thanks to Steve and Simon for the perfect retrieve.
