A super day with abundant thermals, clouds with a rather lowish base (for a hot August day in the high Alps) and minimal wind. I was concerned that OD might force an early conclusion to the flight but the Surselva remained fine throughout. Turning at Flims enabled me to make it back to Disentis quite easily, but spreadout there had shut everything down, so there was no chance of getting further, but at least I had an easy landing in almost flat calm for once!
