Straight into a climb… Which is always nice when you've got a coat on in 25C!
Sky was blue so bimbled about not quite sure of a plan. Thought I'd attempt a triangle or at least try and make my back along the ridge line. Got a climb from 1200' having vaguely looked at landing options. Decided I was nearish to a mates home in Newbury. Then decided to keep going. Air was rough in the thermals. Got down to 1500 south of Popham where I thought it might be nicer on the ground!
Walked less than a mile. Got a lift to Basingstoke bus station. Missed an opportunity by 10 mins so got the next 50 mins later to Newbury. Mate picked me up and drove me back to Combe for 6 o'clockish.
