Our team was balloted out of the BCC rounds but we decided to go up and fly anyway. The parking field was closed due to the wet ground so it was a question of shuttling the bags up to the common, parking at the Pandy Inn and walking up - good for fitness!

Got to take off ahead of the comp, didn't mess about and took off. Not much lift on the hill itself but loads out the front with some very wacky convergence cloud forming. Had a fun boat about for over an hour but made the mistake of heading too far out the front to a lovely cloud which didn't work so landed down by the pub. Couldn't be arsed to walk back up so went to the pub with the others. Just as well I did as Phil flew to Hay Bluff and the wind wouldn't let him fly back! On retrieve and rewarded with an ice cream, what's not to like!
