Ace day. Made the gap for the first time and returned!

I walked up the wrong hill as Blease turned out to be lee side. I had guessed it would be nill wind. So i carried on walking planning to fly the north side.

It was coming up both sides Chabre style. Multiple Mega dustys, spiting stones off the path. It was dodgy but a strong cycle from the south won for awhile and was marked with birds. So i let go of my wing and went for a dusty dodging fly down.

Found a sustained 5 up that i turned right into but it flipped me left whether i liked it or not.

The rest of the flight was easy going. Some active flying at times but nothing demanding. The LCC milk run practice paid off.

It looked like, and felt like a mega triangle day. But only Phil Kew got away from Clough head and bombed 1/3 of the way round. Must have been easy once high but hard to get there.

Finished in Keswick for ice cream, found convergence on the way there and flew out into the sea air for a chill out on the way.
