I planned not to go downwind, but I though sea breeze was about to spoil things on the hill, so I decided to go downwind with Jacob. Then realised there was no sun on the ground the way we needed to go. Massive area of spread-out all over the moors. So I thought I'd try and fly back round to the front of the hill… But it was too windy to do it.
I landed near a balloon pilot who was sat in his back garden, he drove over to my landing field and kindly took me back to the hill: )
Turned out the sea air kissed the hill then lapped back and they had a great few hours on the hill… Doh!
