My first XC flight! I took off first from Burnbank and immediately found nice thermic conditions. Once there was a gaggle of us we set off down the valley. There was horrendous sink past Mellbreak, but fortunately the northern end of High Stile worked well. Ended up in the bowl beyond Buttermere where I could not find any climbs to go further. Great day!
