It's a hot one! And so it was, but the promise of a steady southerly just failed to materialise. Southerlies at 6 to 8 mph was the call, with a heavy inversion set to sit on top of us for the day.
All day we were plagued by a gusty SE, in defiance of the forecast. Still, for some it offered the opportunity of several hopes in challenging conditions. I'd waited ages for the wind to come on and finally gave in to the desire to just get my feet off the ground - ground sickness can be a terrible thing!
3 Or 4 hopes and two walks up from the bottom were later rewarded with a reasonable 40 min flight. A boat about in front of the hill, photo of the crop circle to the right of take off and back in on top for a change: )
