Bunked of work for a half day & arrived at Whitewool around 12:45 to find many paragliders on the ground, little wind, and couple of wings up high climbing out. Looked like I'd missed the boat. Many short scratchy flights followed with some really punchy little thermals & a couple of abrupt landings & it was feeling like a waste of a day.
Anyway persistence & patience (something i'm not good at) paid off. I had my eyes on Titchfield & the coast from the air but wasn't confident about flying the narrow corridor in the airspace so opted to land at Wickham for a coffee & and easier retrieve. Turned out to be the easiest retrieve ever. An older guy offered me a lift back to the hill on a promise of verification to his wife that I'd fell out the sky!
