The challenge for today was to be quick off the hill, and no dilly dallying once off. Poor weather was forecast limiting the options for the day. Not all bad though as it meant everyone taking off within a few minutes of each other. A real gaggle! Tim, Jerry, Peggy, Wayne, Graham - wow what a crew.
As soon as it looked stay upable we were off. We all spread out off launch looking for something strong enough to beam us out. Eventually we found something and off we went to base. As expected the sky gods Wayne and Graham lead the charge down wind, all the time aware that signs of over development were spreading behind us.
Two or three climbs in and the first of us succumbed to the limited sun on the ground. Jerry and I were like twins for the rest of the flight, scrabbling in the light lift and helping each other find the best bits. A noble tussle with the elements allowed us to push on for another 15km or so before landing in a field being worked by silage harvesters.
Though short lived, it was really great fun flying with everyone: -)
