A strange day, with increasing amounts of cirrus eventually shutting off the thermals and no other clouds to help, but virtually continuous buoyant air providing lazy thermal drift in zeros for the patient. Spectacular views in excellent visibility way beyond the Severn bridges to the west, Malverns and Long Mynd to the north and Didcot power station to the east. A lovely relaxing mooch through the Cotswolds which would have been even better if I could have squeaked the last 2.4k to goal!
