The day was never meant to be more than a boat around the hill. Conditions were forecast to be cloud cover all day with gentle WNW.
Richard (Ikuma) was the only person there on arrival, up and enjoying conditions on the lower take off. A couple of hops to see if we could crab up to the top take off, but nothing doing. Mike C arrived with the dual and also enjoyed a quick flight before the gang arrived and promptly headed to the top take off, thus kicking off the migration.
From the top everything was just better, the air, the lift, everything. Very quickly groups started heading off to do the ridge run. Though late off the hill I still managed to get a taste of splendour of Pandy - What a fab day!
