Fustrating distance, but great flight and first time leaving a Sussex hill. The group I climbed out with pushed back to the ridge, and I figured had I done that I might not have got away at all so stayed with a 0.5 up and drifted with it. I was unsure weather to head off downwind, or head to Ditchling, where I could see gliders soaring. So I pushed into wind to go to Ditchling but the ridge wasn't working. On the positive side it gave me some experience of gliding on a more into wind track on bar, which I very rarely if ever do.
Some of the busiest sky's I have flown in to date.
